Midas Touch is an AI-native, agentic strategy platform. Describe a trading idea in plain English, and our agent turns it into a testable strategy, backtests it against historical market data, and helps you refine it before putting capital at risk.
We’re a bootstrapped two-person team founded in 2026. The platform is live today, with automated paper trading in development.
The problem we solve.
Most people trade on hunches, or don’t trade at all, because verifying an idea properly requires being a quant. You need code, clean historical data, a backtesting framework, and the discipline not to fool yourself. The existing tools still make you learn a language or wrestle an editor.
But the barrier isn’t only skill — it’s time and self-trust. Our users have ideas, or encounter them: a video that seemed smart, a thread, a hunch about a sector. They have no way to verify those ideas, no time to babysit them even once verified, and no reason to trust their own judgement. So they default to the target-date fund and wonder.
The platform replaces that self-doubt with evidence. Describe a strategy in plain English, and the agent builds it, backtests it against real historical data, and compares it risk-adjusted to what you’re already doing. When the boring answer wins, it says so. Nothing trades without a backtest, and nothing trades outside rules the user sets.
